A sister-project to our earlier Green Gables quilt, Avonlea is a further exploration of the beauty and versatility of the classic log cabin quilt block. As you sew your quilt, you'll discover a soft rainbow of Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics, culminating in a powerfully delicate medallion design.

Finished Quilt Top Dimensions:

  • Queen Sized Quilt: 95" x 95."

In this Full Kit, you will receive a beautiful box, which will include the necessary Liberty Tana Lawn to complete the entire quilt top. We will prepare the Tana Lawn by pre-cutting the fabrics into strips for the "logs" of each block.

Instructions will be provided by PDF, along with access to a helpful video detailing how to make a log cabin block. 

We will provide all of the necessary fabric to complete the Avonlea quilt top, in a "soft rainbow" palette, as shown in the photo.

Sewing Level:
Avonlea is suitable for all levels. Log cabin blocks are very forgiving and are a wonderful block for beginning quilters.

How should I care for my Tana Lawn?
Liberty Tana Lawn® does not need to be pre-washed before working with it. Because of the high-quality production of the fabric, shrinkage when washing is negligible.

Washing Care
We recommend washing Tana Lawn® on cool with delicate detergent. Hang drying is preferable; if using the dryer, we recommend a low temperature.

Ironing
Iron on a cotton setting with steam.

We ship via USPS unless otherwise requested. USPS packages are currently arriving in 2-10 business days for domestic deliveries.  

International Shipping
International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

DHL is currently arriving in 3-5 business days.
