Evangeline BOM – Ships Every Two Months

We are thrilled to introduce Evangeline, a new block of the month! Evangeline is an endless chain design, a classic quilt block based off of a hexagon. Available in three different color palettes––warm (as shown in the sample), blues, and scrappy rainbow––we will explore the beauty of print, color, and shape.

BOM Details
• 12-month BOM
• Final quilt top dimensions: 97" x 100"
• Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern

What you will receive in your Every-Two-Month boxes:
• 8 Fat quarters of print Liberty Tana Lawn® (from your choice of color).
• All of the necessary paper templates to create the blocks for that month. 
• Two yards of your choice of Background fabric (if you chose to receive a background fabric).
• Two cutting acrylics will also be included in your first month's box.

Background Fabric Choices:
We have two options for background fabric for the BOM:
1) Solid White Liberty Tana Lawn® (as seen in the sample quilt)
2) Mitsi Garden Tana Lawn® (a white-on-white print, creating a beautiful texture).

*If selecting White Tana Lawn® or Mitsi Garden, please note the seam allowance will be slightly visible through the front because of the fine quality of the cotton lawn.

Providing your own Background Fabric
If you choose to provide your own background fabric, some lovely options include: Liberty Tana Lawn®, linen, chambray, and solid quilting cotton. You will need approximately 12 yards of 54" wide fabric or 14-15 yards of 44" wide fabric. 

Instructions
General instructions will be provided by PDF, which will be emailed when the first box has been sent. Additional  instructions will be provided each month via PDF.

Sewing Level
For the Evangeline BOM, you will need to know the basics of foundation paper piecing. Foundation Paper Piecing is a lot of fun and quick to learn! We will also be sewing Y-seams to assemble the quilt.

BOM Start Time:
We will begin shipping Month 1 of Evangeline in late October 2024 You will receive your first box (combined Months 1 + 2) during the second month's shipment in late November.

Evangeline FAQs
• When you sign up for the BOM, you will immediately be charged for the first two months of the BOM.
• Your first box will ship during the second month of the BOM and will continue to ship on "even" months (months 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12).
• Once you have signed up, you will not be charged again until the third month of the BOM. Charges occur on odd months (months 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11) for a total of 6 charges.
• After completing the BOM, all participants will receive a one-time 20% off DuckaDilly coupon code. This can be used for backing, binding fabrics, or any other sewing needs.
