Full-Time Subscription Fabric Cutter

DuckaDilly Fabrics is looking for a full-time Subscription Fabric Cutter and Studio Assistant for our Ann Arbor-based studio!

This position will be responsible for:
–Preparing and cutting fabrics for our Blocks of the Month and Subscription programs
–Inventory management and organization for our Block of the Month subscription programs
–Cutting and folding fabrics for products within the studio
–Assisting customers on the phone
–Studio maintenance, organization, and upkeep
–Assisting with miscellaneous studio tasks, including folding bundles, preparing materials for subscription shipments, etc.

Required skills include:
–Great attention to detail, and high levels of organization
–Experience with precision hand-work
–Must be able to repeatedly lift 30 lbs throughout the day and lift 15 lbs overhead
–Comfort working in Google Suite (Sheets, Forms, Docs, etc)
–Computer-literate and confident in learning a new e-commerce platform

Preferred skills include:
–Experience working within a Shopify-based web-store (not required)

Additionally, we all spend most of the day on our feet, so you should be comfortable standing. Sewing experience is not a requirement.

Schedule: 8:30am - 5pm, Monday through Friday (40hrs/wk)

Compensation: $20-$24/hr, depending on experience

DuckaDilly Fabrics is a boutique online fabric store, specializing in Liberty Tana Lawn® Fabric. We are the largest supplier of Liberty Tana Lawn® in North America and ship custom orders nationally and internationally. 

Our light-filled studio is located in downtown Ann Arbor in the Kerrytown Market and Shops.
