DuckaDoodle - Full Kit

A blank piece of paper and some time to kill - let’s draw a square! And then a Sawtooth Block, and some vertical stripes. We’ll start big in the center, and get smaller as we work our way out!  OR, we’ll start lighter at the edges, and get darker in the middle! Both! Let’s keep doodling, and see what we create!

We are proud to reintroduce DuckaDoodle, a beloved BOM now available as a full kit!  DuckaDoodle began as just that, a doodle.  A chance to explore shapes, angles, fabrics, and techniques in a structurally unstructured way.  As we move seamlessly (get it?) from piecing to FPP to appliqué, you’ll find that while you’re doodling about, you’ll have made a geometric marvel, a classic sampler and a modern medallion all in one.  

At the heart of your DuckaDoodle Quilt are the fabrics you’ll be using - a carefully chosen palette of pinks, periwinkles, aquas and teals, all in gorgeous Liberty Tana Lawn. They will be the through-line as you explore each month's block, tying your quilt top together in a gorgeous Liberty-stravaganza! The DuckaDoodle fabrics also feature touches of both neon and metallic.

 DuckaDoodle Details
• Final quilt top dimensions: 98" x 98"
• Techniques used: basic piecing, FPP, and appliqué

Sewing Level:
DuckaDoodle is suitable for all levels! While it may look complex, each block is easily composed using a combination of basic piecing, FPP, and simple appliqué. 

What you will receive in your DuckaDoodle kit:
• All fabric needed to complete quilt top in the color palette shown.
• Printed templates for all FPP and appliqué blocks

Instructions
General quilt instructions and detailed block by block instructions will be available in a Google Drive that will be shared with the email address used at checkout. When your kit ships, you will receive a Welcome email containing links to your DuckaDoodle Google Drive folder and instructional videos. Because this was originally a BOM, the instructions are broken down into monthly bite-sized chunks to help you track your progress! 

Liberty Tana Lawn® does not need to be pre-washed before working with it. Because of the high-quality production of the fabric, shrinkage when washing is negligible.

While hang-drying is preferable, you can also tumble dry on low.

Orders are currently being fulfilled in 1-5 businesses days. During sales, fulfillment may take longer.

Please note, shipping times shown at checkout do not include the time for us to fulfill the order.

The customer must provide a secure delivery location. DuckaDilly is not responsible for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered packages. Once a package is in transit, please contact the appropriate shipping carrier for questions or concerns. 

Fabric Order Returns

We regret that fabric cannot be returned as it is custom cut per order.

Non Fabric Returns

Non-fabric purchases can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Returned non-fabric items must be unopened and in their original condition. Books cannot be returned.

Issues

Any order issues must be reported within two weeks of receipt of your purchase. Order issues will not be considered once fabric has been cut or washed. Please check all items upon receipt and contact us if there is any problem with your purchase. 

US Shipping

We ship via USPS or UPS unless otherwise requested during checkout. USPS packages are currently arriving in 2-10 business days for domestic deliveries.  

International Shipping

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

DHL is currently arriving in 3-5 business days.

First Class Package International is currently arriving in 2-6 weeks. For more up to date information on shipping times contact us.

International Customs and Taxes

Customs, duties, taxes and other related fees are not included in your shipping costs.  These fees are determined by your country when ordering internationally. Please be aware of any additional costs that may be applicable to your purchase before ordering. Orders returned to DuckaDilly due to unpaid duties are not refundable. If your order is returned to us, we will reach out regarding any applicable reshipping
fees.
