Monthly Materials

  • (18) 6.5" x 9" pieces of printed Liberty Tana Lawn® (for the leaves)
  • (3) 12" x 12" pieces of printed Liberty Tana Lawn® (for the bias stems)
  • 16.5" x Width of Fabric of background fabric

  • 2-piece windowed acrylic leaf template set
  • Mylar stem placement template

  • (16) 6.5" x 9" pieces of printed Liberty Tana Lawn® for bug appliqués
  • Mylar templates for the three bugs (butterfly, moth, dragonfly)

Recommended Supplies

These supplies are heavily recommended for completing Secret Garden.

  • 15 yds of either Pellon #905 OR #910 Sew-In interfacing (nonfusible). #905 is a lighter weight with a lovely drape that pairs with the Tana
    Lawn®, but can be trickier to turn when using the interfacing appliqué
    method. #910 is thicker with more body, but is more forgiving when
    turning.
  • Clover 1/2" bias tape maker
  • Clover Point 2 Point Turner
  • Roxanne Glue-Baste-It appliqué glue
  • Starch

Instructions

In addition to general PDF instructions and video covering block construction and our recommended appliqué method (interfacing-turned appliqué), you will also receive detailed monthly PDF illustrations showing specific fabric placements.

All instructions will be provided digitally in your DuckaDilly account. If you do not you have an account, you will need to create one.

Subscription Schedule

Secret Garden is a 12-month BOM

Monthly Subscribers

  • Shipments will begin September 2026.
  • When you sign-up, that is considered your Month 1 charge.
  • You won't be charged again until Month 2 (October 2026).
  • You will receive a total of 12 monthly shipments.

Every 2 Months Subscribers

  • Your first box, containing materials for Months 1 and 2, will ship October 2026.
  • You won't be charged again until Month 3 (November 2026), and your charge will be for Months 3 and 4.
  • Your second shipment will have materials for Months 3 and 4, shipping December 2026.
  • You will receive a total of 6 bi-monthly shipments.

Prepaid Monthly Subscribers

  • Your first box, containing materials for Month 1, will ship September 2026, and you will receive 12 monthly shipments.
  • International customers: please contact us before checking out with a Prepaid Monthly Subscription. Additional shipping charges will apply.

Can I provide my own background fabric?

Background fabric is included in our Secret Garden BOM.

How will I receive my instructions?

PDF instructions will be available in your DuckaDilly account. If you do not yet have an account, you will need to create one after signing up.

Please check out with the email address that will be used for the duration of the BOM. The email address will be used for important BOM correspondence, such as payment confirmation, shipping updates, and accessing instructions.

Backing and Binding Coupon Code

When the BOM is complete, we will provide many recommendations for backing and binding!

Additionally, stitchers will receive a one-time 20% off DuckaDilly coupon code. This can be used for backing and binding fabrics or any other sewing needs.

Shipping

All subscriptions ship free with Standard US Shipping.

Any non-subscriptions items purchased when you sign-up for your subscription will be shipped in your first BOM box. If you would like your other items sooner, please checkout separately.

International shipping options are calculated and shown at checkout.

Cancellation Policy

We kindly request that BOM subscribers give a minimum of one weeks notice prior to the next recurring charge if they would like to cancel their subscription. As we custom cut our subscription fabrics ahead of time to the number of current subscribers, this advanced warning is helpful to our small business.

Price Changes

DuckaDilly reserves the right to change the price of future Secret Garden charges with one week of emailed notice.
