Join us for the first ever DuckaDilly Block Party Sew Along as we explore an iconic quilt block - the Economy Block! We are looking forward to a Fall filled with beautiful fabric, colorful conversations, and lots of new quilt-y friends. Inspired by block parties of our childhoods, we are excited to gather online with our Liberty Fabric loving "neighbors" near and far!

The need to know
No sign up or purchase required! Everyone is invited to simply sew along with us. We have kits available for purchase, but you are welcome to use your stash! We encourage you to join the DuckaDilly Creative Community on Facebook to connect with other stitchers and ask questions and to post your progress on Instagram!
Technique: Foundation Paper Piecing
Sewing Level: All levels! The Economy Block is a great block for stitchers new to FPP and experienced sewists alike.

Ready to gather your supplies?
Required Fabrics
- Quilt Top: 84 Tana Lawn® fat quarters or approximately 21 yards. This is a fabulous way to use up scraps too!
- Backing: 5.25 yds of either 52" wide Tana Lawn® or 44" wide quilting cotton
- Binding: .5 yds of 52" wide Tana Lawn or .75 yds of 44" wide quilting cotton
- Economy Block Party Kits with all necessary fabrics are available for purchase!

- 168 printed Economy Block FPP templates - included in your Economy Block Party Kit purchase or available as a free download to print at home. Find all of that here!

December 25-31: Holiday Break. See you next week!
Week 16
January 1-7: Sew your last 12 Economy Blocks.
Weeks 17 & 18
January 8-21: Assemble your quilt top.
