Fairytale Forest BOM

Back by popular demand! We are opening up a new Fairytale Forest BOM!

Once upon a time, in a faraway land, there was a little pink cottage tucked deep in a magical wood... Come take a walk through our Fairytale Forest. Over the course of 12 months, we will meander through a magical wood filled with a kaleidoscope of color. On our walk, we will stroll through groves of teal trees, towering coral evergreens, a copse of plum conifers, and thickets of aqua saplings. Eventually, we will make our way to a quaint, pink cottage nestled in the heart of the forest.

BOM Details
• 12-month BOM
• Final quilt top dimensions: 90" x 90"
• This is a foundation paper piecing quilt pattern

What you will receive in your monthly boxes:
• (20) 9"x8" pieces of printed Liberty Tana Lawn®.
• All of the necessary paper templates to create the blocks for that month. 

Background Fabric Add-ons:
We have two options for background fabric for the BOM. Solid White Liberty Tana Lawn® or blue Liberty Chambray. If you choose to add-on a background fabric, we will include the 10 yards (two 5 yard cuts) in your first box. This will be all of the background fabric you will need to complete the quilt top. 

*If selecting White Tana Lawn®, please note the seam allowance will be slightly visible through the front because of the fine quality of the cotton lawn.

Providing your own Background Fabric
You can choose to provide your own background fabric. Some lovely options include: Tana Lawn, linen, chambray, and solid quilting cotton. You will need 10 yards of 54 inch wide fabric or 11 yards of 

Instructions
General instructions will be provided by PDF, which will be emailed when the first box has been sent. Additional monthly instructions will be sent each month via PDF.

Sewing Level
For the Fairytale Forest BOM, you will need to know the basics of foundation paper piecing. Foundation Paper Piecing is a lot of fun and quick to learn!

Shipment Times
We will begin shipping in Late April / Early May. This will give us enough time to order all of the necessary fabrics and supplies to begin this BOM. We will send out assigned shipping times in early April with your exact shipment date. Depending on the number of sign ups, we may have separate shipment dates. If you will be doing this BOM with friends and would like the same shipment dates, please leave us a note at checkout or contact us with your group request.

Fairytale Forest FAQs 
• When you sign up for the BOM, you will immediately be charged for the first month. 
• Once you have signed up, you will not be charged again until the second month of the BOM.
• Your subscription can be cancelled at any time. 
• After completing the 12-month BOM, all participants will receive a one-time 20% off DuckaDilly coupon code. This can be used for backing, binding fabrics, or any other sewing needs.

Liberty Tana Lawn® does not need to be pre-washed before working with it. Because of the high-quality production of the fabric, shrinkage when washing is negligible.

While hang-drying is preferable, you can also tumble dry on low.

Orders are currently being fulfilled in 1-5 businesses days. During sales, fulfillment may take longer.

Please note, shipping times shown at checkout do not include the time for us to fulfill the order.

The customer must provide a secure delivery location. DuckaDilly is not responsible for lost, stolen, or mis-delivered packages. Once a package is in transit, please contact the appropriate shipping carrier for questions or concerns. 

Fabric Order Returns

We regret that fabric cannot be returned as it is custom cut per order.

Non Fabric Returns

Non-fabric purchases can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Returned non-fabric items must be unopened and in their original condition. Books cannot be returned.

Issues

Any order issues must be reported within two weeks of receipt of your purchase. Order issues will not be considered once fabric has been cut or washed. Please check all items upon receipt and contact us if there is any problem with your purchase. 

US Shipping

We ship via USPS or UPS unless otherwise requested during checkout. USPS packages are currently arriving in 2-10 business days for domestic deliveries.  

International Shipping

International shipping costs are calculated at checkout.

DHL is currently arriving in 3-5 business days.

First Class Package International is currently arriving in 2-6 weeks. For more up to date information on shipping times contact us.

International Customs and Taxes

Customs, duties, taxes and other related fees are not included in your shipping costs.  These fees are determined by your country when ordering internationally. Please be aware of any additional costs that may be applicable to your purchase before ordering. Orders returned to DuckaDilly due to unpaid duties are not refundable. If your order is returned to us, we will reach out regarding any applicable reshipping
fees.
