How should I care for my Tana Lawn?
Liberty Tana Lawn® does not need to be pre-washed before working with it. Because of the high-quality production of the fabric, shrinkage when washing is negligible.

Washing Care
We recommend washing Tana Lawn® on cool with delicate detergent. Hang drying is preferable; if using the dryer, we recommend a low temperature.

Ironing
Iron on a cotton setting with steam.

So Fun!

I purchased these thinking they would be fun to make a string project from. When I send gifts to my quilty friends I wrap them in fat quarters of Liberty Fabrics and tie them with a bow. Now I can use some of these strips for bows. While I was pressing them I could see which prints I could add to my collection. Sometimes you are not quite sure of the colors on the website. I haven't had time to start my project, but I pressed them all and put them in a basket in my sewing room. They are pretty just to look at and enjoy!

Ribbons - Bliss!

Who would have thought a bag of " scraps" would make me so happy?!! Like ... get a life, huh? But nope --- I am happily going through both bags of Tana Lawn ribbon and imagining making a border for my " when I get good enough to use my TL fabric" quilt. Bonus: it gave me the opportunity to get to know different TL fabrics/patterns, etc. Pictures don't do them justice. In the bag are so many ribbons/scraps - some really long ( bargain!) and some very tiny ( not sure what I'll do with these- definitely hand sewing - whatever I decide). The fabrics in the bag all complement - brilliant sorting. I will probably make a 2.5" border " ready" strip. Can't wait!! So clever-

Loved my bag of ribbons!

I loved my bag of ribbons. I sewed similar colors together to make fabric. Then I make flower petals and eventually complete flowers similar to the way Julie Arkell makes flowers. They came out just beautifully and the fabric is so light and airy. The colors all go together so it’s hard to make a mistake when I was putting them together. If I were better on the computer I would send
a picture. Maybe I can find someone to help me do that.
